The Sanyo PLV-Z60 is Sanyo's newest 720p LCD projector that gives you 470 real ANSI lumens. It has great contrast and vibrant color. A successor to the excellent Z5, the street of Z-60 is less than $1200.

The Z60 outputs about 470 ANSI lumens in its brightest video optimized mode. The brightest video optimized mode is Brilliant Cinema, lamp setting A1, color temperature Low 1, widest angle zoom. This is an improvement over the Z5's performance in Brilliant Cinema. At 470 lumens, it is a great for LCD based projector. The Z60 loses a significant amount of light when it uses the telephoto lens.It loses a quarter of its lumen when working in this mode.


The Z60 yields an ANSI contrast measurement of above 300. Most projectors in this line have contrast range between 200:1 to 300:1. The Z60 has therefir competitive edge over other projectors. The Z60 has slightly higher in contrast than its competitors.

The Z60 has a 2:1 manual zoom/focus lens. This allows the projector to display a 100" diagonal image from 10' 1" to 20' 2". The Z60 can be installed in small as well as lage room. If installed at larger distance from wall the effective lumens will decrease.



The pixelization on Z60 disappears when sitting at distance greater thab 1.5 times the screen width . Most people prefer to sit at 1.5 times the screen width, there is practically no visible pixelization on Z60.

Sanyo offers a three year warranty on their projectors. Most repairs are completed within 24 to 72 hours. The company pays shipping in both directions. Sanyo's warranty is one of the best in the business.
Connectivity
The Z60 has two HDMI 1.3 ports and two component video inputs. The Z60 will allow you to connect more devices directly to your projector, before being forced to run your video signals through your A/V receiver.

Sanyo's PLV-Z60 is an nice projector. It gives a vibrant, pristine image with accurate color. Its 2x zoom lens, extensive lens shift, and HDMI and C video inputs make it easy to install. If you're looking for a new projector for your light-controlled home theater, this can be suitable for you.
